Hello...
let me introduce myself...
The northern outskirts of Philadelphia is where Tastykakes, Phillies baseball, Eagles football and the enjoyment of national parks became woven into the fabric of who I am. The savory Latvian crepes and speÄ·rauši along with Irish soda bread and rice pudding are the flavors of my heritage.
Hilltown Baptist Church was where my heart learned of Jesus, His saving grace and how God has a plan for my life. My soul is forever thankful for pastors who stood on God's Word, faithful Sunday School teachers and youth workers who exemplified joyful service.

Plumstead Christian School (class of 1990) and Philadelphia College of Bible (class of 1994, now called Cairn University) formed my Christian-world view through traditional education and athletic competition (elementary education, field hockey, basketball and tennis).

Joining Crossworld, a missions agency, had me packing my bags for a move to Santiago, Dominican Republic in 1995 where I would work in Christian education and two church plants. Here is where I met Rich, my husband. Our family grew to add Kasandra and Jason...a few dogs, fish, birds and turtles along the way too. Life in the Dominican Republic has not always been easy, but the lessons and beauty found in the hard places motivate me to share my story.
